Job Overview
Assembles, installs, and maintains machinery and mechanical systems. Interpret blueprints, use hand and power tools, and ensure machines are built to precise specifications. Duties
•Assemble and construct components according to specifications and blueprints.
•Utilize hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and industrial equipment to complete tasks.
•Perform machining tasks as needed, ensuring precision and accuracy.
•Operate forklifts safely to transport materials around the worksite.
•Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
•Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues during assembly or after the machine is built.
•Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
•Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on machines to ensure optimal performance.
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
•Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
•Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
•Experience in blueprint reading for accurate assembly and construction.
•Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
•Ability to perform machining tasks with attention to detail.
•Basic electrical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting various systems.
•Ability to perform manual labor tasks and stand for extended periods.
•Fabrication: Creating custom jigs, fixtures, or parts to meet specific needs.
•Control Systems: Integrating electrical and pneumatic components into the machine.
•5 years minimum experience in manufacturing machine building.
