About the Role:

As a Utility Operator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting plant and mine operations through general labor, material handling, equipment operation, and basic repairs. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals seeking career growth in an industrial setting with hands-on training and advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow all safety protocols and MSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

- Assist in plant and mine operations through general labor/cleaning duties.

- Handle and stock materials such as fuel, rock, clinker, and cement.

- Operate mobile equipment, shipping, and transfer machinery.

What We’re Looking For:

- Education: High school diploma or GED required.

- Physical Ability: Must meet job demands, including lifting up to 100 lbs. occasionally.

- Experience: Mobile equipment operation or cement manufacturing experience is a plus.

- Skills: Strong problem-solving, basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to work independently.

- Team Player: Ability to assist various departments and adapt to shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

- Exposure to hot & cold environments indoors & outdoors.

- Exposure to machinery, high elevations, airborne particles, and outdoor conditions.

- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting.

- Noise levels range from moderate to loud, requiring proper safety gear.
