Solify is a dynamic company looking to enhance our online presence through engaging and creative social media strategies. We’re seeking a passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team and help us connect with our audience in meaningful ways.
Position: Social Media Coordinator Type: Part-Time (20-30 hours per week) Compensation: $17.20–$20.00 per hour Location: Hybrid, 1-day minimum in-office. Reports to: Marketing Manager
The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with our Marketing Manager to develop and execute social media strategies that align with Solify’s brand and goals. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a knack for storytelling and a passion for digital trends.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across Solify’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop daily, weekly, monthly posts.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure content aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate relevant ones into content strategies.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- (Non-entry level) Leverage After Effects to create visually appealing motion graphics or short videos (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
- Ability to create a 2-week social media content plan or 1 reel as part of the hiring process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
- Passion for staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends.
- 1 year of social media coordination or related experience (preferred but not required).
- Experience using After Effects for motion graphics or video editing (preferred but not required).
- Ability to analyze content performance and suggest improvements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
- Knowledge of video editing software, particularly After Effects.
- Familiarity with Solify’s industry (renovations, energy, real-estate)
