The Braze Weld Technician at Liberty Lift Solutions is a critical role primarily focused on induction braze welding gas-lift bellows components and other related gas-lift valve equipment. We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Braze Weld Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling Liberty Lift bellows sub-assemblies, supporting critical operations through precise mechanical work, induction braze welding, and quality-focused processes.

The primary responsibilities in this role are as follows: parts picking, preparation of parts for braze welding, valve inspection, bellows-crimping, and induction braze welding. Candidates should minimally possess a high school diploma, or GED equivalent, with higher level education or vocational training in manufacturing technology, or a similar field, being a plus. Ideal applicants have previous induction braze welding experience, are mechanically inclined and capable / willing to be trained, learn, and work in a fast-paced environment by demonstrating strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. This position (once fully trained) requires adeptness in using specialized tools, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to perform quality control tests to ensure that all products meet the rigorous standards set forth by the company
- Perform braze welding using techniques such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on diverse materials including sheet metal and pipe components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure accurate dimensions and fit-up of welded assemblies.
- Conduct rigging, pipe threading, assembly, and mechanical fitting tasks while adhering to ASME codes & standards for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly handling materials like sheet metal and ductwork, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Support fabrication projects by working with crane operations, forklift handling, machining processes, and basic math calculations for precise measurements.
· Read and execute job orders for sub-assemblies
· Select, verify, and prepare parts to meet production requirements
· Install and torque guide rods using specialized tools and fixtures
· Set up and operate engraving equipment to mark components
· Perform bellows crimping and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools
· Clean and prep components for brazing using approved materials and methods
· Apply flux, assemble components, and prepare for welding
· Operate braze welding equipment, including setup and safety checks
· Maintain accurate documentation of parts, lot numbers, and work completed
· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
· High School Diploma / GED. No technical or college degree required, higher level education a plus but not a requirement.
· Experience in the oil and gas energy or manufacturing sector a plus, but not required (Full Job Training will be Provided)
· 2-3 years experience and knowledge in the fundamentals of brazing, metallurgy, temperature control, and testing procedures.
· Mechanical Skills: Experience in manufacturing, assembly,and braze welding.
· Technical Skills: Understanding of assembly drawings, technical assembly/testing procedures, and blueprints.
· Communication Skills: Must be capable of effectively communicating with managers and co-workers.
· Attention to Detail: Precision and care in handling components and during assembly to meet quality standards.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues during the assembly process.
· Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for detailed manufacturing work such as brazing, crimping and lapping.
· Quality Control: Skills to follow procedures and conduct inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
· Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physical tasks and standing for extended periods. Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
· Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety practices, especially in handling tools and machinery.
