Atomic Absorption Technician
Education Required: Minimum High School and a diploma in any discipline

Responsibilities
1. Sample dissolution using the required wet chemical techniques according to QOP
2. Gravimetric testing
3. Prepare reagents for dissolution: General chemical and reagent preparations according to
Quality Control Procedures (QCP) when required
4. Complete required logs
5. Operate and maintain AA instruments
6. Email the run data to the appropriate data reviewers to be imported into LIMS/IT Support Site
7. Maintain departmental housekeeping
8. Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment to ensure that it is in working order
9. Ensure all tasks produced with high quality and accuracy
10. Work overtime when required to ensure TAT meets clients’ requirements from receipt
11. Compliance with all safety procedures including handling of all chemicals as per their MSDS
12. Any other tasks as determined by Process Owner/Lab Manager
