Brief Description
The Auxiliary Plant Operator (APO) ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment at the Temple Power Facility in accordance with established procedures and under the direction of the Shift Lead or Operations Manager. The APO collaborates with owner representatives to uphold plant culture, drive business objectives, and maintain positive relationships with customers and the community.
The Temple Power Facility consists of two 766MW combined-cycle power blocks, each equipped with two Siemens SGT6-5000F gas turbines, one Siemens SST6-5000 steam turbine, three Siemens generators, and associated systems, including gas and electrical interconnections, water treatment, cooling systems, and auxiliary facilities. The plant is interconnected to Oncor Electric Delivery Company at 345 kV and operates in the ERCOT market.

valid driver's licenseand maintain a clean driving record, as this position requires occasional travel for company business. Candidates should be comfortable operating a vehicle as part of their job responsibilities and must meet any applicable company and insurance requirements.
