he Litigation Support Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and project management of eDiscovery and litigation support initiatives. This role ensures the firm's litigation technology is leveraged efficiently and effectively to meet legal team and client needs. The ideal candidate will have litigation paralegal experience and an interest and proficiency in technology involving ESI collection, processing, review, and production. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
- Assist in the coordination of litigation support and eDiscovery project tasks, including data intake, processing, review workflow setup, and production under the guidance of project managers or attorneys.
- Support attorneys and litigation support staff in maintaining project timelines and following established protocols.
- Track and update project deliverables to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
- Follow pre-established workflows and contribute to improvements by documenting case-specific needs.
- Prepare routine reports summarizing project status, time tracking, and review progress for internal teams.
- Maintain user access and support functionality for litigation platforms such as document review, case management, and trial presentation systems.
- Assist with testing and validating system performance and escalating issues when necessary.
- Provide basic system support to end-users and assist in gathering feedback for platform improvements.
- Coordinate with vendors or IT on routine updates and user training materials.
- Support efforts to align litigation platforms with other firm systems by gathering requirements and assisting in basic data validation.
- Coordinate information exchange between departments to ensure data is entered or transferred accurately.
- Maintain logs of data flow and perform basic checks to ensure process consistency.
- Follow established protocols for secure data handling and assist in ensuring chain-of-custody documentation is properly recorded.
- Monitor logs and assist with identifying and flagging anomalies or errors for review by senior staff.
- Participate in compliance training and support enforcement of internal policies by maintaining documentation accuracy.
- Assist in identifying repetitive tasks suitable for automation by tracking task frequency and inefficiencies.
- Support pilot testing of new tools by providing feedback and collecting user input.
- Help maintain documentation on workflows, vendor performance, and procedural updates.
- Assist in the setup and organization of trial presentation technology and materials.
- Prepare and test electronic exhibits and assist with system checks before trial proceedings.
- Provide basic in-courtroom support as needed, including handling backup files and assisting with presentation tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a professional services environment. Essential knowledge of Office Suite and Relativity for Software is essential. This is a non-exempt position with a hybrid work schedule of two days remote.
