The Senior Transformation Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to Mosaic’s corporate support functions. This person will own financial analytics models related to routine cost reporting and provide direct data and analytics support to function Vice Presidents and their employees for ad hoc analysis and projects. In addition, this person will lead the global implementation and ongoing support of SAC-P from a corporate and consolidations perspective. This role will lead a number of value-add projects and process improvements for the support functions and corporate FP&A.
What will you do?
•Lead routine reporting approaches for the various corporate FP&A, which includes cash flow forecasts and EBTIDA forecasts. Support the team by creating automations that decrease the overall time of reporting and increases accuracy. Maintain accountability for foundational reporting with special attention to the quality of information and analysis provided as well as the efficiency in which it is processed. Identify and lead process improvement efforts.
•Lead the implementation of SAC-P in the budget and forecast processes. Leadership will be required to communicate with all levels of the organization, execute related process improvements, and meet the expectations for implementation and ongoing support the system requires.
•Lead routine reporting approaches for functional FP&A support focusing on global SG&A reporting. Create repeatable processes that can be leverage across all business partners. Create visualizations that can aid in business partner meetings and establish a citizen-led information platform across all business partners. Provide ad hoc support as needed for management reporting related to SG&A.
•Build relationships and network with customers at all levels within the functional which will lead to a deeper understanding of the functions and value-add ideas for improving the functions and the quality of our support.
What do you need for this role?
•Bachelor's degree required with major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, Masters degree preferred.
•5+ years of experience in finance or other related experience
•Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices
•Broad understanding of internal controls
•Experience with data analysis methodologies preferred
•Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
•Excellent analytical skills
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills
•Ability to maintain the “big picture” while also being able to “drill down” into the detailed analysis
