Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Petroleum Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and installation of various fuel systems including but not limited to Gilbarco, Veeder-root and Verifone systems . This role requires a strong understanding of fueling systems both above and below ground and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Service Technician will work in the field, providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring knowledge, safety and efficiency in all tasks.
Responsibilities
•
Perform diagnostic evaluations and repairs on fueling systems.
•
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Install fueling systems according to manufacturer specifications.
•
Troubleshoot issues related to fueling components, point of sale systems and tank monitoring systems.
•
Read and interpret schematics for effective repairs and installations.
•
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
•
Drive a service vehicle to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
•
Collaborate with team members to design solutions for complex mechanical problems.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in fueling systems.
•
Knowledge of Gilbarco, Veeder-root and Verifone systems.
•
Mechanical skills necessary.
•
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
•
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
•
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
•
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
