We’re looking for an experienced
Mechanical Rotating Equipment Specialist
to join our onshore Reliability and Execution Team. If you’re a skilled professional with a passion for improving equipment reliability and performance, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For:
•Certification & Experience:
•Red Seal certified Millwright, Mechanical Technologist, or Mechanical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in an industrial setting (offshore oil and gas experience is a plus).
•Hands-on expertise with turbines, compressors, pumps, and other rotating equipment in industrial or power applications.
•Certifications in condition monitoring (e.g., Machinery Lubrication Analyst, Infrared Analysis, Ultrasonic). Familiarity with "motion amplification" is an asset.
•Strong knowledge of industry standards like API and ANSI.
•Proficiency in laser alignment techniques, including thermal growth adjustments.
•Experience with SAP is a bonus.
•Category I or II Vibration Analysis Certification.
•Familiarity with monitoring systems (e.g., Bentley System 1, CSI 2120 Data Collector).
•Deep understanding of maintenance and repair for rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, gearboxes, turbines, etc.).
•Knowledge of monitoring standards like API670.
•Expertise in process technology and operations.
What You’ll Do:
•Recommend solutions for chronic equipment issues and enhance preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
•Champion best practices and explore new technologies to boost reliability.
•Collaborate with reliability, maintenance, and operations teams to identify improvement opportunities.
•Provide technical support during installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
•Collect and analyze equipment data to predict repair needs and optimize schedules.
•Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations.
•Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
•Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
•Work with vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective solutions.
•Lead or support equipment health monitoring projects to reduce downtime and lifecycle costs.
•Provide technical assurance during outages and updates to installation guidelines (e.g., API-686).
