Description of Position Responsibilities

JOB TITLE: Laser Supervisor

SUPERVISED BY: Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supervises 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Laser Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Trains and supervises all laser department employees.

2.Programs Lasers.

3.Creates product modifications and designs using Solid Works and other software.

4.Calculates cycle times for quoting purposes.

5.Provides Customer Support.

6.Schedules Laser Production.

7.Responsible for Laser Department Quality.

8.Ensures proper inspection, production and maintenance of equipment.

9.Good attendance is an essential function of this job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

3D Programming.

Manufacturing.

CAD Design.

Good Math Skills.

5 years experience in laser operation/supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Problem Solving.

Self-Motivated.

Reliable.

Mechanically inclined.

Good with People.

Various Computer Skills.
