Underground Solutions, Inc. (UGS) is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support our power and conduit market. The position is remote but you must reside in the Midwestern or Eastern part of the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil), Business, or Marketing preferred
•High school diploma or GED required
•1 year of inside or outside sales experience required with experience selling technical products in the power, electrical utility, or conduit industries being preferred
•Familiarity with the U.S. electric grid, power transmission infrastructure, and transmission planning process
•Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and time management skills due to the strong commercial element of the work
•Ability to maintain high-quality work, manage multiple competing priorities, and thrive in a results-driven culture
•Strong computer skills with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with CRM platform, ideally Salesforce
•Ambitious self-starter with strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, and dedication to a team environment

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Focus on lead generation, sales development, and increasing revenue and margin within the power and conduit market
•Identify potential project leads by researching utility, developer, and contractor websites, transmission planning submissions, and relevant databases for opportunities aligned with our conduit solutions.
•Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and the National Conduit Market Manager to identify, develop, and close business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets
•Support and grow existing customer accounts while developing new customer relationships
•Prepare and deliver technical proposals and submittals to utilities, engineers, and contractors
•Conduct detailed plan and specification reviews and take-offs related to conduit installations and undergrounding projects
•Maintain and expand sales leads and activity tracking within Salesforce
•Analyze early lead detection data to identify and build future opportunities
