Pay: Starting at $17 an hour, pay is dependent on experience and skill set. The amount is not inclusive of the total compensation package.

What can you expect as a third shift material handler on a typical shift at ACEMCO?
- Operate a Powered Industrial Truck to safely move or load products, materials, etc.
- Adhere to all safety specifications including stacking heights, seat belt use, speed limits, signage, etc.
- Maintain a high level of awareness when operating a powered industrial truck surroundings to ensure the safety of all associates, products, and equipment.
- Perform battery charging and changes safely, while adhering to the company's guidelines.
- Stack products and materials in various environments safely.
- Function as a member of a work team, and identify safety and process improvements within the facility.
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the work area by performing housekeeping duties.
- Responsible for working and cross-training in various work centers as required.
- Completes appropriate paperwork and other documentation.
- Able to meet daily production requirements.
- Responsible for additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor/manager.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- PC and keyboard/mouse skills (required).
- Ability to load and unload trucks. (required)
- Shipping and Receiving experience (required)
- Ability to frequently lift/move material weighing up to 40 pounds (required).
- Ability to work as a contributing member within a team environment (required).
- Experience with Microsoft Applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Must maintain corrected vision and meet all requirements to operate a PIT as outlined by regulatory commissions
- One year relevant experience (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is required and supplied. Eye protection (safety glasses) is required and supplied. You are required to purchase and wear steel-toe safety shoes or boots.
