Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated entry-level Solar Installer to join our team. This role is primarily a support position, working closely under the direction of our Roof Lead. You will assist with solar installations, site preparation, and cleanup. While electrical knowledge is not required, prior roofing experience is a must. We prefer candidates with 6 months to 1 year of solar experience and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Roof Lead with daily installation tasks
- Set up and break down job sites
- Carry and stage materials and equipment on roofs
- Perform cleanup during and after installations
- Follow instructions and safety protocols closely
- Support installation crew in completing projects on time
- Work in varying outdoor conditions (heat, heights, etc.)
Qualifications:
- 6 months – 1 year solar installation experience (preferred)
- Roofing experience required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather
- Strong physical stamina and reliability
Employment Details:
- This is an entry-level, potential full-time position
- Due to the nature of the solar industry, full-time hours cannot be guaranteed; however, we are experiencing steady growth and increased demand
- Pay will be based on experience
