Scope:
Perform functions to plan and manage the maintenance of the organizations manufacturing equipment, working within the limits of established policies
Your qualifications and skills
•BS degree in Engineering or related
•Broad knowledge of Hydraulic Systems
•At least 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
•At least 2 years of supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
•Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Understanding of theories of operation, troubleshooting, repair procedures, and preventative maintenance practices
•Computer literate (Microsoft office experience).
•Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
•Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
•Knowledge of process related standards.
Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members.
Essential Functions:
•The effective execution of all maintenance and assigned projects.
•Supervise Value added maintenance Technicians
•Manage the reliability, improvement and maintenance functions of the Value Added area
•Work order approval and planning.
•Conduct, trend, and perform root cause failure analysis, implement improvement plans for major failures and repeat breakdowns.
•Maintain problem solving A3’s to reduce downtime and scrap focused on machine reliability and continuous improvement
•Maintain a safe work environment according to company safety policies.
•Monitoring and control of spare parts inventory within budget.
•Evaluate maintenance technician skill level and develop training plans to maintain skill levels according to current technology.
•Develop and direct all continuous improvement activities as related to maintenance and quality of work.
Essential Functions:
•Meet or reduce budgeted material and labor cost variances through preventative and predictive maintenance.
•Meet or exceed key performance indicators as defined by manufacturing goals.
•Perform all duties to operate all equipment, all within limitation of the standard methods and procedures and in accordance with strict adherence to safety, environmental, quality and productivity requirements.
•Acquire knowledge of Hydro’s safety, environmental and quality standards.
•Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions.
•Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
•Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements
