- Ensure all safety signs, cones, barriers, etc. are in good shape and on the truck.
- Set up and work safely on high traffic roads according to Book 7 standards.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and in-depth knowledge of CVOR requirements. Complete circle checks on CVOR vehicles and fill out all required logbooks
- Approach all customers in a courteous, professional manner ensuring deadlines are met.
- Apply due diligence in ensuring accuracy in preparation and prompt completion of all necessary documentation (timesheets, drawings, as-builds, material report, and toolbox talk)
- Participate in all Health and Safety efforts including daily tailboard talks.
- Basic Knowledge and operating skills of mini excavator and vibratory plows considered a requirement.
- Able to read locates and verify utility markings (gas, hydro, communications. Water, sewer, etc.)
- Work closely with the project Foreman or Superintendent for overall planning, scheduling, material needs and equipment requirements
- Provide daily updates digitally or manually on the progress of the job.

- Utility or Telecommunications construction experience.
- Mechanically inclined and able to properly maintain equipment.
- FTTH, copper, fiber experience is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License, AZ, AR or DZ a strong asset with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Physical strength and stamina, the ability to carry tooling weighing 80 pounds.
- Work in all weather conditions, day, night, or weekends with possible overnight stays.
- Travel required.
- Excavate using methods by hand-dig/mini excavator is an asset.
- Basic Knowledge and operating skills of mini excavator and vibratory plows required.

As a Vibratory Plow Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to install underground utilities and perform landscape maintenance. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your role is essential in ensuring efficient construction processes. You will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge and maintenance, alongside premium skills in excavator operation and fiber optic systems. A valid driving license is required (commercial license a valuable asset). Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic work environment.
