The Information & Communications Technology Division of ICE Services (ICE ICT) designs, installs, and maintains telecommunications infrastructure across the North Slope of Alaska. ICE ICT is looking for a motivated professional to assist in successfully executing exciting commercial projects in Alaska’s oilfields. In this role you will install and implement commercial Information and Communications Technology systems based out of Deadhorse, Alaska. This job requires verifiable knowledge of Structured Cabling Systems and familiarity with security cameras, access control, and wireless networks is preferred.
- Three years of communications installation experience.
- Experience working in remote arctic environment preferred.
- Skills in locating and correcting defects in communications systems, components and equipment.
- Team player with good customer service, communication skills and very safe work ethics.
- Must be able to read and interpret instructions & manuals.
- Have a commitment to excellence – identify what needs to be done and take action to achieve a standard of excellence beyond job expectations.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written), able to follow instructions and adhere to company policies & procedures.
- Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company HSE program and OSHA requirements.
- Valid Driver License that meets ICE Services insurance criteria for driving.
- BICSI Tech – preferred, not required
- Fiber Optic Installer – preferred, not required
- North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card – preferred, not required.
- Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, occupational fitness test, criminal background check and computer-based testing.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift & carry 65 pounds on regular basis, routine walking, standing, bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services.
- Rotational schedule of at least 11.50 hours per day for a minimum of 21 days consecutively as required.

· Ability to implement ICT installations while employing industry standards and best practices, resulting in reliable system performance
· Install and repair copper, fiber and coaxial structured cabling systems
· Install and troubleshoot security cameras, access control hardware, wireless devices, and rack mounted appliances
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365/Productivity Suite
· Ability to review, and understand drawings, cut-sheets and schematics
· Ability to work within a design and engineering team to install turn-key projects
· Ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders
