As a Service Technician, you’ll install, maintain, and repair oil, natural gas, and propane heating systems and related equipment. You’ll work directly with residential and commercial customers, ensuring safe, efficient operation and delivering exceptional service in the field.
- Diagnose and repair heating system malfunctions, including wiring, controls, and fuel systems
- Perform routine maintenance and system calibrations
- Install and service domestic hot water systems, boilers, furnaces and associated components
- Complete accurate work orders and documentation using pricing tools
- Provide customer training on new systems and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain company vehicles and adhere to all safety protocols
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 4 years of relevant HVAC or heating service experience
- Strong knowledge of burner wiring, circuitry, and safety controls
- Must obtain Journeyman status within 2 years
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in varied physical conditions
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Basic computer literacy
- Self-motivated and dependable
