About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front. You'll break spot news with urgency, deliver in-depth market insights, and conduct exclusive interviews with CEOs and senior industry figures. You'll also contribute to pricing intelligence, edit contributor content, and help drive the strategic direction of AMU.
Key Responsibilities:
•Deliver timely, impactful news on market movements, earnings, and industry developments
•Write and edit high-quality content for newsletters and digital platforms
•Conduct interviews with top industry leaders
•Gather and assess market intelligence and pricing data (e.g., lead times)
•Represent AMU at industry events, conferences, and webinars – including moderating sessions
•Work closely with CRU’s expert global aluminum team
•Collaborate with sales/marketing to grow AMU’s reach and impact, including on social media
Skills & Experience:
•Proven experience in B2B journalism, preferably with metals or commodity markets
•Strong network or knowledge of the aluminum sector is a major plus
•Excellent written and verbal communication – clear, concise, and insightful
•Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy
•Commercially savvy, deadline-driven, and proactive
•A collaborative, team-first mindset with a “can do” attitude
