Tri-Arc is seeking aluminum and steel welders for 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) and for our plant located in Blawnox, PA. Tri-Arc offers a competitive starting rate of $24.33 (1st shift) . Tri-Arc also offers a generous benefit package, and the right candidate(s) will have the opportunity to join the United Steelworkers Union after completing 520 probationary hours. All candidates are required to take and pass a welding test and bring their own welding gear. This is an excellent opportunity for welders who like a challenge and want to become a skilled craftsman. - Set up and operate MIG welding machines to fabricate metal products or assemblies.
- Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into welding fixtures.
- Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
- Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding equipment.
- Operates various punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube bending equipment.
- Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.

- Welders new in the field who may not meet welding standards just yet, may be given the opportunity to work in a non-welder position, practice welding with use of Tri-Arc's facility (on your own time), and retest after the 520 probationary period OR they may return, and retest in 30-days.
