Maverick Power is seeking a motivated entry-level engineer to support the development of new product modules for the Maverick Power quotation tool (MP Direct), create clear and compelling technical marketing content, and contribute to an emerging AI automation strategy across our engineering and operations workflows. This is a cross-functional role ideal for someone who is technically inclined but business-aware, and excited about applying engineering thinking to product development, customer communication, and internal efficiency.
- Translate engineering features into value-driven customer messaging
- Write technical data sheets, technical application guides, white papers, and digital content
- Work with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales to support go-to-market strategies
- Create and maintain product modules in quotation tool (MP Direct)
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales to define rules, options, and constraints
- Ensure module logic aligns with engineering designs and electrical standards (UL, ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, NEC)
- Assist in identifying manual processes in engineering, quoting, and documentation
- Evaluate AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Python scripting, Power Automate) to reduce repetitive tasks
- Help build and test AI-enabled workflows for BOM generation, pricing, and compliance checks
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, another technical field, or equivalent experience is required
- Skills:
Required
- Strong written communication and technical documentation skills, Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and basic logic/programming concepts. Interest in AI, automation, and digital tools such as Python, VBA, ChatGPT, large language models (LLMs), and Microsoft Power Automate
. Preferred
-Familiarity with electrical switchgear (UL 891, 1558, 1008, 67, 508A, ANSI/IEEE C37.20, NEC), Exposure to product configurators and ERP systems (Epicor or equivalent), experience with technical marketing or content creation

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
