Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for an Aeroderivative & Small Gas Turbine Cost Estimator in Orlando, FL to prepare cost estimates of Field Service labor, tooling and equipment, expenses, subcontractors, and overhead to support winning contracts.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

- Develop detailed outage schedules, proposals, budgets, and spend plans to support driving successful outages.

- Liaise with the District Offices, Sales, and Marketing teams and related technical experts to define mechanical scope of work, division or responsibilities (DOR), and customer specific requirements.

- Maintain the functionality and accuracy of estimating tools through evaluation of actual performance data.

- Identify and evaluate risks to support developing contingency estimates for FS projects.

- Participate in internal projects and in multifunctional teams to improve products and services.

- Support FS operations in a limited role as a semi-productive engineer, quality engineer, or in related capacity.

- 35% domestic travel required.

What You Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience.

- Full term of experience must include: Microsoft Office Suite;

- Planning projects;

- Estimating systems or software;

- Estimate project costs and timelines during initial project phases;

- Evaluate bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers; and

- Develop accurate referential cost estimates to support bidding processes.

- Experience must also include: SAP;

- Field service project management; and

- Analysis of schedule cost deviations versus actual expenditures.

- 35% domestic travel required.
