*12 months + contract assignment in Orange, Texas (Multiple power plant projects)
As a DCS Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining Distributed Control Systems used in industrial automation processes. This includes configuring control strategies, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring seamless integration with other control systems.
- Develop and implement control strategies for DCS systems.
- Program and configure control logic using standard programming languages.
- Integrate DCS with other control systems and instrumentation.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel.
- Document system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Must have DCS Emerson Ovation experience. (Preferably on several projects, but not necessary)
- Proficiency in DCS programming and configuration.
- Experience with control system integration and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and process control.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
