Description:
Job Summary: The Electrical Designer III is responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for manufacturing operations. The Electrical Designer III will create detailed electrical schematics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
•Design and develop electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and processes.
•Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD software.
•Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
•Perform calculations and simulations to verify design integrity and performance.
•Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
•Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components.
•Provide technical support and guidance to junior electrical designers and engineers.
•Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
•Prepare and present design documentation and reports to senior management.
•Identify opportunities for design improvements and implement best practices.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
•Relevant certifications in electrical design or engineering preferred.
•Relevant internships or work experience in electrical design is required.
•5-7 years of electrical design experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
•Familiarity with PLC programming and automation systems is an advantage.
Skills & Abilities:
•Strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices.
•Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).

Work Environment:
•Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Ability to work on the production floor performing a variety of tasks.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
