Job Overview

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a press brake machine to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of various machining processes. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that specifications are met and production goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.

- Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and basic math skills to ensure accuracy in production.

- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

- Set up and adjust machine settings based on job requirements.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

- Assist in the operation of additional machinery such as CNC, milling machines, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and lathe as needed.

- Use cranes for moving heavy materials safely within the production area.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment.

- Familiarity with laser cutting, CNC operations, plasma cutting, milling machines, and lathe is preferred.

- Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and practices at all times.

- Capacity to learn quickly if there is no previous experience on a press brake.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
