About This Job
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Melview Metal. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling metal products that meet our high standards of quality. This position is essential for ensuring the durability and reliability of the materials we provide to our customers.
Responsibilities
•
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
•
Fabricate metal components according to project requirements.
•
Perform welding tasks using various techniques including MIG.
•
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and efficiently during fabrication processes.
•
Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Welder with expertise in various welding techniques.
•
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
•
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
•
Familiarity with power tools and welding equipment.
•
Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus but not required.
•
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
