About This Job
We’re currently looking for a dependable Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team and support our lead mechanic. This is a great opportunity for someone with some hands-on experience in diesel mechanics—especially working with heavy-duty equipment, trucks, and trailers—who’s eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
•
Assist lead diesel mechanic with repairs and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment, trucks, and trailers
•
Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting
•
Handle tools, parts, and shop organization
•
Support preventative maintenance tasks
•
Keep a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
•
Some experience working with diesel engines, heavy equipment, or trailers (can be from shop work, school, or hands-on jobs)
•
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
•
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
•
Basic mechanical tools a plus
What We Offer:
