Frontier Energy is seeking a Trade Ally Manager to provide an advanced level of support to an energetic program implementation team. Working within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, the Trade Ally Manager will lead implementation support for our energy efficiency building contractor-delivery programs.
Key Responsibilities
The Trade Ally Manager will support multiple projects that promote energy efficiency and decarbonization by implementing building contractor recruitment campaigns. The job will require leadership and oversight of concerted contractor recruitment efforts, educating contractors, and providing guidance to technicians and their staff on the benefits of efficient technologies in building decarbonization and how these technologies provide a growth opportunity for their companies. Though each project will have its own specific set of goals and objectives, Trade Ally Manager responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
•Document all interactions, email, calls and in person, in the company’s contact relationship management (CRM) database.
•Maintain strong, ongoing relationships and communications, with participating trade allies and internal team to achieve program goals.
•Implement outreach campaigns and account management strategies to achieve contractor recruitment objectives.
•Implement trade ally marketing and communications plan with the objective to spread awareness of decarbonization and grow the market for heat pump technology and quality heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installations.
•Implement recruitment and management of a network of contractors and trade allies to ensure quarterly program targets are achieved.
•Implement engagement of equipment vendors, distributors, and building professional organizations to recruit and enroll contractors who will deliver program services.
•Responsible for learning, applying, and staying up to date on a body of technical knowledge relating to decarbonization and heat pump technology.
•Build relationships with key personnel such as contractor sales teams to drive program participation.
•Promote efficiency resources to targeted audiences, driving participation in client programs that provide rebates, financing, and other assistance to make energy improvements to existing buildings.
•Track and review contractor applications and communicate program updates and general information to stakeholders.
•Perform research and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and develop clear and concise written reports of findings.
•Perform metrics reporting, data tracking and data quality assurance reviews on regular timelines/deadlines with efficient attention to detail and accuracy.
Required Skills
•Must have excellent customer service and be able to make cold calls to recruit program participants.
•Have excellent attention to detail and exceptional record keeping abilities as all interactions will need to be documented and tracked in a contact relationship management (CRM) database.
•Must be a self-starter and be able to complete tasks and hit targets without daily supervision.
•Ability to explain technical or industry-specific information effectively to a diverse customer base.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills using phone, email, reports, presentations and other methods to most effectively engage audiences.
•Exceptional organizational skill and ability to work independently as a self-motivated team player.
•Experience working with stakeholders and clients from the public and private sectors, and comfortable communicating with the general public about program goals and requirements.
•Experience delivering accurate and error free work product.
•“Customer service” ethic and strong professional skills to serve our clients and program partners.
•Strong skillset with MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows® operating systems.
•Must be able to travel/participate in work events during non-business hours as required.
Preferred Skills Description
•4-5 years of relevant experience.
•Ability to present and articulate information well.
•Experience using Customer Relationship Management databases.
•Ability to master software tools.
•Experience with California HVAC trade associations, institutions, and educational opportunities.
•An understanding of building performance concepts.
•Background in developing and implementing training programs in a technical environment.
