We are currently seeking a dedicated Mechanical Substation Technician to join our skilled and passionate team. What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of ensuring the reliable performance of our electrical substations. From preventive maintenance to urgent outage response, you’ll inspect, repair, and service vital substation equipment that keeps the grid running smoothly.

- Testing and maintaining transformers, breakers, reclosers, and regulators

- Checking and processing insulating oil for quality and compliance

- Supporting field and shop-based repair operations

- Coordinating inventory for spare and replacement parts

- Assisting with oil processing and environmental compliance (Tolar facility)

- Ensuring timely completion of maintenance schedules and records

- Supporting Doble testing and wire pulling activities

What You’ll Bring

- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (required); 2 years of electrical/mechanical schooling preferred

- Experience: Minimum 3 years in electrical or mechanical maintenance

- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, safety-minded, detailed recordkeeping, and a team-first attitude
