Job Responsibilities:
•Monitor and analyze crude oil gathering system and pipeline operations;
•Monitor flows, pressure, temperature and tanks using SCADA system to ensure safe receipt and delivery of product;
•Issue controls where applicable;
•Communicate daily with field operations;
•Monitor system performance and capacity, making proper notification of equipment needing repair or calibration;
•Coordinate scheduled maintenance and unscheduled outages with field operations, interconnect operators and nominations personnel;
•Provide emergency response coordination and control;
•Produce reports daily which provide operating data to management; and
•Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
•Knowledge of oil gathering systems, pipeline and operations
•Familiarity with SCADA systems is desired
•Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Willing to assume additional responsibilities, and work daily in a fast-paced cooperative team environment
•Good organizational and planning skills and the ability to work as a team to meet strict deadlines
•Good analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
•2 years oil or liquids experience
