As the Quality Manager, you will be working with a team who is responsible for planning and implementation of quality control programs, ensuring that all products meet the desired quality, reliability, and performance standards.
· Adheres to all company policies and procedures. All Quality Systems procedures and work instructions are consistently followed.
· Develop and implement inspection methods to analyze product quality.
· Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, finished goods, and stability samples.
· They also oversee the investigation of customer complaints regarding quality and recommend corrective actions.
· Collaborate with internal departments such as production, engineering, and product development to identify problems and propose solutions.
· They also coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials.
· Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, business administration, or a related field. Experience will be considered as a substitute for education.
· In-depth knowledge of quality assurance standards, methodologies and systems is essential. This can be gained through academic courses and work experience in a relevant field.
· Able to obtain a certification from American Society for Quality (ASQ), like the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
· Experience in injection molding helpful. - will consider other related processes.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.
This position is eligible for profit sharing! And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!
Core Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 9 hours within this timeframe) Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends required (when applicable); 45 – 50 hours a week on average Direct Reports: Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians
Work Conditions: Lifting up to 30 lbs.; exposure to moving parts and equipment.
Travel: Approximately 20% (typically between facilities and visits to suppliers)
