SUPERVISOR (8 HOUR)
Role: Production Supervisor
Location: Texas
Schedule: Second Shift - 3pm to 12am M-F

Position Overview
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor directs the overall module operations ensuring the achievement of production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with the company quality standards and customer delivery requirements. Spanish Speaking skills are a plus
What you will do
- Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Works in conjunction with the EHS Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment. Complies with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards, and customer specification and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity, safety, and ISO/TS.
- Participate in planning meetings, recommending space, personnel, and equipment requirements. Be part of the hiring process.
- Ensure adherence to ISO/TS procedures and requirements, participate in ISO/TS planning sessions.
- Recommend preventative maintenance procedures and plan the repair of machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of people, and quality of product.
- Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems; analyze and resolve work problems, and assist workers in solving work problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or HSED/GED Equivalent is preferred. Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed. This position requires one to two years of training.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees to share information, solves problems, and instruct or train lesser skilled employees. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as part drawings, shop orders, work plans, and short correspondence. Must be able to write standard
