Position Overview
We are seeking a talented, pragmatic Solution Architect specializing in frontend development and application architecture. The existing software platform is mature and widely used by clients. Your key focus will be to systematically improve the product’s architecture, user interface, and ease of use, making it more intuitive, maintainable, and scalable for future growth. This is a hands-on development role focusing on React. You will help lead upgrades, refactors, and feature enhancements, closely collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the platform evolves with industry best practices in architecture and usability. A key part of your mandate will be to help drive the next generation of the UI/UX, which will increasingly incorporate AI-driven elements. This includes applying artificial intelligence to make advanced machine learning workflows even more accessible, intuitive, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
•Evaluate the current software’s frontend (React) architecture and UX, identifying modernization opportunities and AI-powered enhancements
•Architect, design, and implement structural and interface upgrades, focusing on user satisfaction, scalability, and ease of use
•Champion UI/UX best practices, leading the adoption of AI-assisted features that streamline workflows and simplify ML model interaction
•Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to prioritize improvement projects and align with business and user goals
•Communicate architectural vision, rationale, and progress across teams and audiences
Required Qualifications
•5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a solution architect or related architectural leader role
•Strong, hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks in established codebases
•Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices and strong intuition for intuitive, accessible, and intelligent software
•Demonstrated communication skills and ability to drive cross-team improvements
•Experience with cloud-based application development and agile processes
•Ability to travel for client or team engagements as needed
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with RedHat OpenShift and container orchestration
•Background in AI/ML platforms, data-centric SaaS, or B2B enterprise software
•Experience modernizing or scaling applications in high-growth settings
•Familiarity with energy, oil & gas, or industrial software domains
