Houston Process and Design (HPD) is a custom manufacturer of ASME Section VIII Division 1 code pressure vessels located in Northeast Houston. Our capabilities include vessel design, fabrication, machine services, painting, inspection, and non-destructive testing, all maintained in-house with a full-service machine shop. We specialize in creating a range of products including vertical and horizontal tanks, filter housings, basket strainers, and custom fabricated products. Our facility spans seven acres with a state-of-the-art 40,000 sq ft fabrication bay equipped with multiple overhead and jib cranes to meet production needs efficiently.

Position:

Pressure Vessel Designer and AutoCAD/Inventor Operator

ASME Pressure Vessel Fabrication facility looking for both entry level and experienced Pressure Vessel Designers and AutoCAD/Inventor Operators.

Responsibilities:

The positions will help support our engineering and estimating departments with specification reviews, ASME calculations, creation of drawing submittal packages and revisions. The position will also help support continuing development of A.I. use to ensure future success Houston Process and Design.

Qualifications:

·        Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD/Inventor

·        Able to read, interpret and apply customer specification requirements

·        Knowledge and experience with ASME code requirements is preferred

·        Knowledge of applicable inspection and test procedures to pressure vessels and piping is preferred

·        Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-motivated

·        Dependable, strong work ethic, positive attitude

Pay:

Hourly wage or Salary to be determined based on experience and qualifications
