The Senior R&D Electrical Engineering Advisor under broad direction, is recognized as a technical expert and mentors others on engineering design and techniques.
- Pay Rate: Up to $87.90/hour, depending on experience
- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Develop and contribute to new products and services by collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, while incorporating Health, Safety, and Environment processes.
- Provide guidance on innovative design methods to enhance efficiency in design for manufacturability and maintainability.
- Establish best practices for the use of modeling and simulation tools by selecting the most appropriate and effective solutions for the business.
- Define standards for the verification of electronic circuits, systems, and embedded systems.
- Envision new testing procedures and equipment where there is no precedent, and create new testing concepts.
- Participate in, make significant contributions to, and potentially provide leadership in professional societies.
- Significantly contribute to [Company Name]'s Intellectual Property portfolio by issuing patents, publications, and presentations.
- Completion of a master's or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline, along with 13 years of related experience.
- Recognized internally and externally as an expert within the technology community.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to identify and integrate opportunities across various disciplines.
