- Responsible for soliciting business for NOV Portable Power as directed by the Sales Manager
- Conduct cold calls, follow up on leads, create sales opportunities, and close business
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across various industries and geographic areas through in-person interaction
- Attend training at NOV facilities to become familiar with equipment, services, and company processes
- Complete weekly sales call reports, monthly expense reports, mileage reports, and required documentation
- Participate in Monday morning sales meetings and provide updates on sales activity and pipeline
- Attend sales conferences, industry trade shows, and networking events to promote NOV Portable Power and build brand presence
- Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
- Experience in equipment rental or industrial outside sales environments
- Experience working with contractors, construction, or industrial customers
- Strong ability to build relationships, manage a sales territory, and drive revenue
- Comfortable working in a field-based, customer-facing sales role
- Familiarity with portable power, generators, or heavy equipment is a plus
