JOB LOCATION: Houston, Texas

JOB TITLE: Propane Delivery/Bobtail Driver

JOB TYPE AND HOURS: Full-Time, M-F 8am-5pm w/ flexible hours starting as early ads 6:30, On-call Rotation about once every 2 months

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Propane Delivery/Bobtail delivers propane safely and efficiently to Green’s Blue Flame Gas’ commercial and some residential customers. This position requires a CDL Class A or B License with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements and Bobtail License with the Texas Railroad Commission. This position is for our office in Houston, TX and the customer base will be primarily commercial.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Propane Delivery/Bobtail Driver shall be able to perform the following:

- Perform Pre-Trip Inspection on bobtail truck daily

- Load, transport, and deliver propane safely and efficiently to commercial and residential customers

- Use company tablet to access customer accounts and print tickets

- Provide excellent customer service

- Ensure customer equipment is in compliance with applicable codes

- Be available for on-call rotation

- Be a positive image for Green’s Blue Flame Gas and uphold our reputation as an outstanding service company

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates for the position shall meet the following requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Class B CDL with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements

- Certified for Bobtail by the Texas Railroad Commission

- 1 year Propane bobtail experience

- Must have a clean driving record

- Ability to pass a DOT physical

- Ability to lift full propane cylinders

- Have adequate computer skills

Pay: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour
