As a Transportation Manager, you will manage a team of transportation representatives responsible for nominations, allocations, confirmations and balancing of gas flow volumes across the system. You will supervise daily operations of the gas scheduling team handling multiple customer relationships, counterparty deals, storage positions, and tariffs. You will be responsible for ensuring business coverage, recruitment, development and training of staff, and you may manage cross functional stand-alone projects. You will ensure your team's accuracy and availability/timeliness.

Responsibilities/Expectations:•Leads the team, coordinating activities, optimizing resource usage, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards
•Collaborates with internal partners to establish and continuously improve scheduling and associated business processes (systems, invoicing, etc.)
•Resolves complex problems and answers nonstandard questions pertaining to gas scheduling and onboard/trains new representatives
•Maintains relationships with pipeline representatives to ensure operational integrity
•Communicates with customers on daily requirements and maintain relationships with scheduling counterparts
•Serves as scheduling resource and backup as needed, leveraging experience, broad knowledge of scheduling tasks and processes, and technical aptitude to ensure coverage of multiple pipelines and storage
•Applies understanding of accounting principles and procedures relevant to gas accounting
•Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
•Required: Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or similar) and seven years’ related experience OR High School diploma/GED and ten plus years’ related experience
Requirements:
•Proven experience in leading a team with a strong understanding of regional and physical grid operations, energy infrastructure, and effective storage asset utilization, including LDC and power generation markets
•Ability to manage multiple pipelines and pools, contributing to commercial analysis and demonstrating detailed knowledge of the US gas pipeline system, major industry players, and relevant business models
•Specialized knowledge in commercial aspects and gas scheduling
•Excellent attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills for varied audiences at all levels
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships through effective communication and interpersonal abilities
•Must be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays per business need
