Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive
Compliance Analyst
to support our corporate compliance program. Reporting to the Managing Compliance Counsel, this role is responsible for ensuring the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and critical thinker, capable of working cross-functionally to promote a culture of compliance and integrity.
Responsibilities:•Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the corporate compliance program, including policies, procedures, and training initiatives.
•Monitors compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements across the organization.
•Assist in performance of compliance risk assessments and support internal corporate compliance audits and investigations.
•Track and report on compliance metrics, issues, and corrective actions.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, audits, and investigations.
•Support the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness campaigns.
•Assist in the implementation of new compliance systems and tools.
•Maintain documentation and records related to compliance activities and regulatory filings.
•Collaborate with departments such as Legal, HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
•Utilize compliance management software and data analytics tools to monitor trends and identify areas for improvement.
•Analyze data, identify trends, and prepare professional documents, charts, and illustrations for executive presentations.
•Stay informed of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
•Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:•Bachelor's degree required.
•3 or more years of experience in compliance, audit, legal, risk management, or a related discipline.
•Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare, insurance, or technology) preferred.
•Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•High attention to detail and accuracy.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management systems.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
•Knowledge of international trade compliance regulations, including but not limited to, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other applicable laws and regulations.
•Experience with trade compliance software and denied party screening tools.
•Familiarity with global supply chain operations, particularly in regulated industries.
•Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global data protection regulations.
