Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Receivables and Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This is an immediate start position.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data

- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits

- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues

- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

Experience:

- Proven experience as in Accounts Receivable or in a similar role

* Experience with incoming payments for multiple companies

- Familiarity with accounting software and experience with data entry

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies

- Excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients regarding billing inquiries

- 2+ years' experience with QuickBooks Desktop version

- Ability to perform technical accounting tasks such as journal entries and bank reconciliations

- Experience in coding invoices according to corporate accounting standards

- Proficiency in math for accurate calculations
