About This Job
Twin Rivers Stone is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our limestone production facility in Godfrey, IL. We are looking for an Equipment Operator who can run a Loader, an Excavator, a Dozer, and/or a Haul Truck. Other duties may include mechanical/electrical repairs, welding, and other general labor tasks as skills and time allow. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and working in a rock quarry, but we will also consider dedicated candidates who are willing to learn.

Experience running heavy equipment strongly preferred
•
Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality all required
•
Willingness to learn and follow instructions required
•
Good organizational skills and ability to work well with others
•
Mechanical skills, welding, fabricating, or electrical skills are a plus
•
Strict adherence to MSHA and site-specific safety rules
•
Experience in the mining industry preferred but not required
•
Willingness to work in various environmental and weather conditions, and some exposure to heights
•
Background check, drug test (cannabis included), and fitness for duty test all required before being hired
•
Minimum of high school diploma or GED strongly preferred
