Reporting to the purchasing and warehouse clerk, the warehouseman is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of materials receipt and shipment. They will also be responsible for the yard.
- Supplies mechanics and electricians with the required parts;
- Processes requests from mechanics and electricians;
- Prepares orders for drilling sites;
- Stores items in an orderly manner so that they are easily accessible;
- Keeps the warehouse clean and well organized at all times;
- Participates in inventory counts;
- Picks up parts from various suppliers;
- Ensures trucks are loaded and unloaded;
- Maintains the yard;
- Performs all other related duties to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Bilingualism is an asset;
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience;
- Valid driver's license;
- Good knowledge of Excel is an asset;
- Knowledge of Guide TI and Great Plains systems is an asset;
- Be accurate and quick in performing tasks;
- Enjoy manual and heavy work; and
- Be in good physical condition.
