Summary
We are seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team in our Fontana Branch; this is the primary logistics hub. This position plays a key role in coordinating daily deliveries across our multi-branch network, covering southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and highly familiar with regional logistics, capable of maintaining real-time visibility over truck movements and resolving issues quickly to ensure on-time delivery and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch daily deliveries across Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada, adjusting routes based on traffic, delays, and priority orders
- Communicate with drivers, yard teams, and sales staff to ensure accurate, timely execution of all delivery requirements
- Manage documents including proof of delivery, load lists, and return slips
- Monitor GPS systems and update route sheets with ETAs, load adjustments, and delivery exceptions
- Resolve real-time issues in the field: traffic delays, customer reschedules, missed loads
- Track delivery completion and maintain dispatch logs for internal reporting
- Maintain order across multiple driver schedules while supporting sales and customer service objectives
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers and vendorsMinimum Requirements
- 2+ years dispatch experience in a high-volume logistics, construction materials, or fleet environment
- Deep knowledge of regional transportation routes, including AZ/NV corridor
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- Proven ability to manage dispatch under pressure with precision and accountability
- Proficient with GPS software, spreadsheets, and mobile communications systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience dispatching flatbeds, Class A trucks, or construction supply chains
- Familiarity with fencing or industrial building materials
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
