Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Warehouse Technician at our Elko Warehouse. The successful candidate will work directly with the Warehouse team in daily practices such as counting, verifying, and inspecting freight against documentation and loading freight by forklift and other machinery; paying attention to detail and the ability to be precise and accurate are essential!

Responsibilities:
•Receive and process bulk chemical shipments by reviewing shipping paperwork and delivery schedules in accordance with established policy and procedure.
•Verify delivery documentation against purchase orders; identify and document discrepancies such as overages, shortages, or incorrect materials.
•Review and maintain compliance with all regulatory documentation requirements, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Bills of Lading, and hazardous materials shipping papers.
•Communicate and coordinate closely with carriers, vendors, internal stakeholders, Accounts Payables, the Bulk Commodity Buyer, and the Bulk Contracts Specialist to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials and resolution of any issues.
•Enter receiving information into appropriate tracking systems; maintain accurate and timely records of all received materials and documentation.
•Respond promptly to urgent or unscheduled deliveries to support continuous operations.
•Assist internal personnel in identifying and verifying chemical materials using internal systems and paperwork.
•Maintain organized, detailed, and accurate paper-based records to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
•Ensure compliance with chemical receiving protocols and safety documentation standards, including any required SDS or regulatory forms.
•Demonstrate effective housekeeping and organization within the receiving workspace.
•Perform other administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•Warehousing or materials background in the mining industry preferred
•Minimum one (1) year of warehousing experience preferred
•Valid Driver’s License required
•Ability to work 10 hour day shifts required
•Ability to work underground may be required
•Receiving and/or Accounts Payable invoice reconciliation experience preferred
•Demonstrated computer experience required
•Experience using SAP computer program and bar coding preferred
•Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office required
•Certificate in forklift operation preferred
•Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations required
•Proven safe work record required
•Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision required
•Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions required
•Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people required
•Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required
