Responsibilities•Conduct/support Manufacturing process reviews.
•Data mining of Quality and ERP systems, and present results during weekly, monthly, or annual meetings, as requested by management.
•Develop a Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and sign off to confirm the information provided for inspection reports are accurate.
•Investigate problems, analyze data, and review nonconformance for accuracy.
•Work closely with production and engineering and lead Root Cause, Corrective Action process and aim to reduce Cost of Poor Quality.
•Work with engineering and production to improve Product Quality and Product Yield.
•Review of technical definitions and changes to ensure that adequate requirements for determining the acceptability of products are defined.
•Assist Management when planning, preparing, and executing Management Reviews and accreditation audits.
•Develop, update, review standard operating procedures, work instructions and forms, as needed.
•Recommend NEW approaches, policies, and programs for continual improvements within the Quality Department and the organization, as a whole.
•Perform other related duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
•Assist Management with other duties as necessary to ensure compliance with the standards (quality and safety).
•Participation in production status review meetings.
•Implementation of the customer quality requirements into production, via quality plans.
•Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Quality Engineering.
•Extensive knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.
•Proficient in statistical analysis software.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work well in a team.
•Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands.
