SUMMARY: Prime Metal Buildings is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Time Study Assistant to support our manufacturing team in conducting timekeeping studies. This short-term role, expected to last approximately 3–4 weeks, will involve observing and documenting production processes to help identify areas for efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
- Assist in conducting time and motion studies on manufacturing processes.
- Observe and accurately record the duration of specific production tasks.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of time study data.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production staff to ensure accurate task tracking.
- Input and format data in spreadsheets or timekeeping software.
- Report findings and anomalies to the engineering or continuous improvement team.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on the production floor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good observational and note-taking skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods on the production floor.
