Position Summary
We are looking for experienced Paint and Drywall Finishers to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing, finishing, and repairing walls, ceilings, and surfaces to ensure a smooth, high-quality final appearance. Candidates should be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to produce consistent results on both residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare drywall for finishing by taping, mudding, and sanding seams, joints, and corners.
- Apply multiple coats of compound and ensure smooth, even surfaces.
- Match textures and finishes to existing work as required.
- Repair cracks, holes, and other imperfections in walls and ceilings.
- Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation, priming, and applying paint or coatings.
- Safely operate hand tools, sanding machines, spray equipment, and related tools.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas while following company and OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate with supervisors, team members, and clients to ensure project expectations are met.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher, Painter, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques, paint applications, and surface prep.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both residential and commercial construction.
- Knowledge of different paint types, textures, and finishing styles.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
