Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and coordinate structural and miscellaneous metals projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of project management principles, with a focus on construction management. This role requires effective communication and collaboration to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with established quality standards.
Responsibilities
•Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
•Coordinate all aspects of structural and misc. metals projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
•Utilize project management software such as ProCore to track progress and manage resources.
•Conduct regular site visits to field measure, monitor work progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
•Manage Change Orders - obtain proper estimate of proposed work, compile, and deliver to customer
•Collaborate with general contractors and clients to facilitate effective communication.
•Attend external and company meetings as required
•Maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
•Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle promptly.
Requirements
•High school diploma or GED. Bachelors in Construction Management preferred.
•Proven experience in project management within the structural steel/fabrication industry.
•Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools.
•Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore.
•Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
