Job Objective
Operate, maintain, and control Harvest’s North Slope LNG facility. Support the Team in a collaborative manner to ensure the safe operation of the LNG facility.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Operator must be proficient at interpreting PFDs, P&IDs, and associated drawings.
- Become fully qualified in all areas of the LNG facility and rotate between truck loading, plant outside operator, and control room.
- Responsible for daily plant operation, reliability and efficiency.
- Performs plant operational troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the Team to improve plant performance and efficiencies.
- Perform nightly water labs and amine sampling and ensures the appropriate actions are taken.
- Operation of the reverse osmosis (RO) system and its upkeep.
- Ensure that the facility maintains proper chemical inventories including lab supplies, RO and steam system chemicals, amine, glycol, etc.
- Assist in the coordination of annual Facility shutdowns and provide Operations support.
- Implement work plans for equipment start-up and shutdowns (LOTO and Isolation).
- Maintain SOP's and participate in review cycles.
- Meet all requirements of the MOC process.
- Complete all EAM work orders in a timely manner.
- Assist Maintenance personnel with EAM PM activities as well as maintaining critical spares.
- Cross train on additional Harvest North Slope Assets.
- Be willing to help cover shifts for emergency/unexpected Operator PTO.
- Be willing to work in a remote arctic location on a 14days-on/14days-off rotation alternating day shift and night shift. Shift will consist of 12-hour days or nights.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- Five years minimum experience in the oil & gas industry. Specific experience in gas treating facilities preferred.
- Previous board operator experience is preferred.
- Self-starter with proven skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure.
- Ability to perform work assignments with little or no supervision.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to work long hours to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to prioritize when assigned multiple tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), EAM database, MOC Frontline
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
