EthosEnergy is currently seeking a OMT-Electrician for our facility in Dallas, TX. Who will serve as Power plant Electrician and performs all types of technical work associated with troubleshooting, operation, maintenance, calibration. Adjusting and installations of all plant instruments Controls and protective relays, both mechanical and electrical. May serve as lead person when working with other technicians in the Instrument and Control Section. Interpret simplified relay schematic diagrams, perform load checks and analyze results for new and revised circuits under investigation. Other tasks as assigned
Job Responsibilities
•Performs all types of technical work associated with troubleshooting, operation, maintenance, calibration
•Adjusting and installations of all plant instruments
•Controls and protective relays, both mechanical and electrical
•May serve as lead person when working with other technicians in the
•Instrument and Control Section
•Interpret simplified relay schematic diagrams, perform load checks and analyze results for new and revised circuits under investigation
Required Skills / Knowledge
•Must be able to pass a screening test
•Ability to perform technical testing calibration, repair and installation duties in power plant location on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic instruments and systems is required
•Able to perform high voltage testing and troubleshooting on circuits, motors, relays and controls utilizing precision instruments is a requirement
•Have and maintain a valid drivers license
•Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing
•Successfully complete a security clearance/criminal record check
Experience
•Minimum of 4 years technical experience working in power plants and/or a minimum of 6 years equivalent technical experience working in power plants as Instrument and Control Technician
Education Requirements
•AAS degree in Electrical Technology is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
•Must be physically capable of working in hot areas and to be able to perform all functions, which includes lifting medium weight loads.
